»ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ

»ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Dimer — Quality is the key ingredient.

»ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ is a name known worldwide for the Parylene conformal coating services we provide. It is also synonymous with the quality technology and materials we offer to customers — our dimer is no exception. Having over 40 years of experience in both the science and art of Parylene conformal coatings, »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ has amassed a wealth of knowledge surrounding the deposition processes and the dimer that is needed to make quality Parylene coatings possible.

Dimer from the original technology source.

As a company whose origins are tied to the first commercialization of Parylene conformal coatings, »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ brings a unique level of expertise and experience to the development and production of dimer material. »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ is one of the few Parylene suppliers around the world that own the manufacturing capabilities for its Parylene dimers. This ownership allows »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ complete control over its proprietary dimer variants, manufacturing recipes and production processes to ensure »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Dimers meet the highest quality standards. Coupled with »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’ R&D team, which is led by a PhD Polymer Chemist, owning dimer manufacturing capabilities also gives »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ access to readily research and develop new Parylene variants. »ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’ dimer manufacturing facility is continuously monitored for cGMP compliance.

»ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Dimer for every need.

»ÆÉ«ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Parylene dimer is available in three variants, each with unique properties:

Parylene N

The basic member of the series, Parylene N, is poly(para-xylylene), a completely linear, highly crystalline material.

  • High dielectric strength: 7,000 V@ 25 μm
  • Very good crevice penetration
  • Continuous service temperature of 60°C
  • Good chemical and moisture barrier properties
  • Coefficient of Friction: 0.25
  • Certified biocompatibility

Parylene C

Parylene C, the second commercially available member of the Parylene series, is produced from the same raw material (dimer) as Parylene N, modified only by the substitution of a chlorine atom for one of the aromatic hydrogens.

  • High dielectric strength: 5,600 V@ 25μm
  • Good crevice penetration
  • Continuous service temperature of 80°C
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • Lowest permeability to moisture and gases
  • Coefficient of Friction: 0.29
  • Certified biocompatibility

Parylene D

Parylene D, the third member of the series, is produced from the same raw material as Parylene N, modified by the substitution of chlorine atoms for two of the aromatic hydrogens.

  • High dielectric strength … 5,500 V@ 25μm
  • Continuous service temperature of 100°C
  • Lowest elongation
